In short - The Pink Ribbon
The 2018 Pink Ribbon was designed by Páll Sveinsson, a master goldsmith at Jón og Óskar. Páll won the annual ribbon design competition put on by the Icelandic Cancer Society and the Association of Icelandic Goldsmiths. Páll’s ribbon, called Tears, comes in two varieties: a pin and a silver necklace.
Proceeds from its sale go to the Icelandic Cancer Society in support of its multifaceted work, especially as it pertains to cancers affecting women.
